Amber had a pretty bad wreck with over $10,000 damages to her 2013 Kia Sorento and luckily she hired a law firm that was familiar with our stellar diminished value services and decided to hire us for the case.
The claim was against an insurance company that is notorious for just saying no, no matter what, but that never stops us from fighting!
My friend crashed her car in a recent storm. She immediately filed a claim, however it took an adjuster 10 days to come look at her car! By this time the car had rusted in the damage area. They deemed it a total loss. Today she is dealing with an investigation. Darwin had quite a claim for diminished value on an 2012 INFINITI G37 after being plowed into from behind by a Budget Rental truck.
His damages were quite severe and he had an attorney for his injury but wasn’t sure how to get paid for the lost value he incurred after an accident that was no fault of his own.
After about two months, he won his case and walked away knowing he wouldn’t take a huge hit when he goes to trade in his wrecked INFINITI.
Today I was reading an email from Soul Pancake and if you aren’t subscribing to their emails, you’re missing out on some beautiful work! Soul Pancake was created by Rainn Wilson and a creative team he works with – their website is a beautiful compilation of awesomeness that is smart, inspirational and witty and warms the heart strings! They are famous for creating Kid President and other gems like the short videos featured on OWN that show what it is to be human and it makes you remember to find beauty in our every day world and reconnect to each other.
One of my FAVORITE videos Soul Pancake has made is “Take A Seat” featuring strangers sitting in a ball pit asking questions to get to know each other. It is a great reminder that we’re not so different from all the folks we pass on the street every day.
Now onto the reason I made this post! What I loved that I found in the SoulPancake email today was this list from Buzzfeed titled “77 Facts That Sound Like Huge Lies But Are Actually Completely True” which had tons of really funny, outlandish facts that were amusing to read.
– If you put your finger in your ear and scratch, it sounds just like Pac-Man.
– Vending machines are twice as likely to kill you than a shark is.
– Armadillos nearly always give birth to identical quadruplets.
– Betty White is actually older than sliced bread.
