THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DIMINISHED VALUE
Taken directly from adjuster training school handbook
Here are some samples from the actual handbook that explains exactly why you are crazy if you believe in diminished value, especially as an adjuster (personal vehicles excluded, of course). There is no such thing as diminished value – we’ll keep it short. . .
Reason #1 why DV is not real:
You cannot touch it.
Reason #2 why DV is not real:
You cannot smell it.
Reason #3 why DV is not real:
It does not show up on the ghost radar.
Reason #4 why DV is not real:
Insurance adjuster training says it is not.
For all the other reasons, please refer to reason 4.
So, there you have it. The irrefutable proof that diminished value is not real. How much more proof can you ask for? It is not real, just TRUST the insurance company. This is not the claim you are looking for (waving hand like a Jedi).
Don’t be an APRIL FOOL!
